Business Edition™ is integrated with LumenVox™ Speech Recognition
Engine and Cepstral™ Text-to-Speech. However, the purchase of a
separate license is necessary to activate these products. Asterisk Business Edition™ is backed by Digium's professional support team free for one year.
Additional support for product configuration and maintenance support
can be purchased as an Asterisk eXpress Service via Digium's Configuration Packages and Maintenance Support.
Support for Asterisk Business Edition provides enterprise environments
with a PBX and telephony platform suitable for critical business
applications.
Digium's comprehensive test program
ensures Asterisk Business Edition's reliability, performance, and
interoperability with key hardware, software, and protocols. Digium
hardware cards are tested for full compatibility with Asterisk Business
Edition, as are several select models of servers, VoIP, and TDM
