Efficient Installation and
Provisioning
The Polycom
SoundPoint IP 320 phone can be installed,
configured, and
upgraded simply and efficiently with the standard base stand doubling
up as a wall mount, once reversed. Remote, zero-touch provisioning and
upgrade from a variety of servers, including FTP, TFTP, HTTP, or HTTPS
is supported by the Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 phone. Boot and
call server redundancy is also supported by the Polycom SoundPoint IP
320 phone to provide reliable, uninterrupted performance.
Broad Interoperability
Testing and
certification on the Polycom SoundPoint IP 320
phone has
been done to prove comprehensive interoperability and extensive feature
support with leading SIP-based call control platforms by BroadSoft,
Sylantro, Interactive Intelligence/Vonexus, Digium, and other Polycom
Technology and Interoperability Partners. The Polycom SoundPoint IP 320
phone also interoperates with Microsoft® Live Communications Server
(LCS) 2005 for telephony and presence. This feature of
the Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 phone offers a choice of
supported standards-based call server solutions with which the phone
can be deployed.
