EdgeConnect 2402LFPoE - Product Benefits:
Simplified
Installation…Just Add Phones!
When using Edgewater’s EdgeView Network Management System (version 5.9
or later) the VoIP installation is automated including the EdgeConnect
2402LF PoE switch and the award-winning EdgeMarc appliance. Simply plug
the cables in, apply power and all of the settings required to deliver
business-class VoIP including VLANs, priority queuing, traffic shaping,
address assignment and more are configured.
Advanced Remote
Administration
Reduce the need for onsite service calls or administration with the
many remote management tools provided by the 2402LF PoE. These include
advanced diagnostics, HTTP, Telnet and more.
QoS and VLANs to Ensure
High Quality Voice and Video
The EdgeConnect 2402LF PoE prioritizes voice and video traffic over
data using per port or 802.1Q tagged VLANs. The 2402LF PoE also
supports traffic classification by 802.1p, IP precedence/TOS, DSCP or
TCP/UDP number.
Integrated Power
Management
Power over Ethernet capability reduces costs by eliminating the need
for additional power supplies and AC wiring co-resident with IP phones.
Greater Reliability
An external UPS can be used to provide backup power to the EdgeConnect
2402LF PoE in the event of a power outage. Using this configuration
distributed enterprise IP phones will continue to operate by receiving
power from the 2402LF PoE.
